The second installation in the “Gallery of Conscience” at the Museum of International Folk Art began with the general theme of immigration. As staff, consultants, community members, and folk artists from around the world gathered in a series of dialogues, the theme evolved to focus more specifically on the effects of immigration in the work and lives of folk artists.
